March 15 briefing on 2016 Comprehensive Plan

The King County Council's Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee will have a briefing and discussion on the Executive's transmitted 2016 King County Comprehensive Plan on March 15. The committee meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse, at 516 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA. This item is #10 on the committee agenda and will include discussion on the following topics:

Committee review process overview
Chapter 11 Community Service Area Planning
Chapter 12 Implementation, Amendments and Evaluation
Area Zoning Studies and Land Use Map Amendments
Technical Appendix D Growth Targets and the Urban Growth Area

There will be an opportunity for public comment following the briefing.

A written staff report on the topics above will be posted to the Council's Comprehensive Plan website in advance of the meeting. Additional chapters of the transmitted 2016 Comprehensive Plan will be discussed at later meetings.
