Project No.:  1134048

Project type:  Bridge
Thomas Bros. Map No.:  508E1

Project description

Repair the bridge deck by scarifying the deck and overlaying it with a structural overlay.

Why is King County doing this project?

The concrete slab surface is spalling with exposed aggregate and numerous rock pockets throughout the deck. There are scattered one-half-inch-plus deep spalls in the concrete slab deck which comprises about 6 percent of the deck area. Due to the heavy traffic on the bridge, a structural overlay is needed to preserve the life of the structure and to reduce maintenance.

Project management phase:  Construction Completed
