Dear Neighbor:

As you may have heard over the weekend late Friday night or early Saturday morning there was a tragic double homicide in Fairwood, part of unincorporated King County that is in District 9.  I attended today’s King County Sheriff’s Office press conference updating the public on these senseless killings.  You can read more details here: Press Report on Murders.

A warrant has been issued for Michael L. Boysen who is wanted for questioning in this case. 

Boysen is 5 foot 10 and about 170 pounds. He has hazel eyes and is 26 years old.  He is believed to be driving a red, 2001 Chrysler 300 with the Washington license plate 046-XXU.

Police are urging anyone who spots his vehicle to call 911 immediately.

Authorities are warning the public that he is considered to be an “extreme danger” to the public and to please call the King County Sheriff’s Office at (206) 296-3311 or dial 9-1-1 should you have information about his whereabouts.

I’m currently working with Sheriff Urquhart to coordinate a meeting in Fairwood to update the community on the investigation. More information on the meeting will be sent as soon as we confirm the meeting location date and time.
