Below is a list of cooling centers that have been identified by cities. You will also see KCLS libraries that are open, as well. Other cooling centers are being identified and this list will be updated as more locations are added.
There is also a developing partnership with the White Center Community Development Association to have a cooling center open at 206 SW 112th St, 98146 operating from 4pm Saturday to 10am on Wednesday. Drop in hours are from 9am to 10pm. It is open to any White Center community member to stay (20 beds) or just cool off.
